Definitely but it's wishful thinking. Like Keane, Holgate and all the others who we've ultimately seen run down their contracts, Mykolenko won't get anywhere near the wage he's on at Everton elsewhere. Him and Tarkowski are out of contract end of next season, and both will end up getting released imo, definitely Mykolenko and Tarkowski likely if his steady decline continues another 18 months.

I really hope we don't offer Mykolenko another contract. It's likely he'd want better terms on what is probably already a decent deal. When he leaves us, he can go and be a solid defender for a bottom half Championship team.

Can’t be having another DCL scenario.

Wouldn’t be suprised to see him get a new contract tbh. He’s not on megabucks and would be decent back up.
Whether he would settle for that is another story.

Thats a very very low bar you're comparing him too, and I'd disagree and say Young at 68 has still more quality in his distribution than Myko.
