Was Lampard a mistake

Keane, Coleman, Pickford, Tosun (of the top of my head), have gone through 7+ managers. They'll get relegated while we move on to another manager
Sorry. But surely you can't mean Coleman ! .That lad has been the best signing we've had in years...Yeah He might be past it now..But he could never be accused of just taking the money..

Without a doubt. Correct it before it’s too late. He doesn’t have a clue how to currently get any kind of result.

It's too late unfortunately. I would sack him though and look to secure a manager who has experience winning the championship.

He very well may have been a mistake, but ultimately he’s a million miles better than hiring Vitor Pereira.

I saw a bit of fight in those players at least last night, they tried, ultimately that shocking defensive errors that cost us every week let us down when it mattered most, again.

Don’t forget, we could have went for Lage, Vieira etc who’ve shown they can manage at this level with support, yet we chose to divide the fan base, alienate the players and destroy any form of unity by appointing Benitez.

No I think he’s the right manager for us but maybe in hindsight we needed an interim to get us out of the mess then appoint Lampard in the Summer. Who knows

It’s the players.

Last night and West Ham were games we could have won or at least taken a point.

Individual errors at the back and dreadful decision making up front have cost us that. There’s nothing he can do about that.

Frank can not fix this with what he has.
RB couldn't fix it, but added Gray.
CA was on a bad run pretty much the whole of 2021. Then jumped the sinking ship.

These results and similar have been 16 months in the making and not one manager signed decent centre backs or replaced our aging right back.

As our midfield have become decimated for what ever reason, the quality of the defenders has been cruelly exposed.

The fans see it. What are the coaches watching?

I still think he'll come good but i may be deluded I don't know. I've never seen a team cut it's own throat so often with mistakes that you really can't fathom at this level. Last night for instance first goal iwobi tracked the scorer collins perfectly until he reached edge of the six yard box then inexplicably left him for the last three yards of his run. Second goal both lewin and kenny get skinned in about 6 inches along the touchline with neither of them getting the slightest touch on the ball, third goal comes from the loon Kenny trying a shot from 30 yards in a centre midfield position! WTF is he doing there if he's a right back!!!!!! Lampard might be just the unluckiest manager we've had or like i said i might be deluded.

It depends if you think we are already down or not?
If you do keep him and let him build for next season in the championship(not that he has any record to say he can do that).
If by some miracle you think we can stay up, he has to go because he plainly isnt the man to keep us in this division.
Are fixtures are miles harder than Burnley ,they have been there before and have got the bounce from winning a big game against us, we have to hope Norwich do something on the weekend to stop them getting any momentum.
I have like must on here been looking at the other teams around the bottom, we are the team easiest to beat.

Lampard will turn out alright ..... once the squad is fixed. Booting him out or hounding him now will be the mistake. This position we are in has been a perfect storm of injury after injury of a paper thin squad combined with a succession of dodgy VAR and referee decisions throughout the season.

The idea Lampard will turn out ok isn't based on anything other than naive hope. You could give him as much time as he wants but he could easily take us nowhere.

A massive yes. I’m not going to lie, I wanted him. I wanted a young manager that some of the players could relate too. But he’s proven that he was not ready for this sort of fight. The job was too big, and he looks lost already.

Yes, yes a thousand times yes! We were on the precipice of a relegation battle and we hired essentially a novice to put us firmly in said battle!

Look who we're up against to stay in the division. Burnley and Watford. Can anyone honestly tell me either of them have better players than us!? Can anyone honestly tell me we have a better manager than them!?
