Meaning "How is it going" in Luganda. And no, I'm not a Ugandan. There is no such thing as a Bluenose Ugandan. Techinically I'm wrong with that-one. I've met two football understanding Ugandans in 5 and half years. But you get the point...

About me then: I'm a Finn stuck in Africa since 2007. With Everton I've been stuck since the Lineker days. I've been in Goodison for a couple of times, previous visit being the glorious 0-2 defeat against Sunderland last season.

What else? At the moment I'm kinda sitting on the fence with Bobby. I can see the potential of the team and the fact that we can be on the brink of something truly special. On the other hand his game management doesn't impress me. So no real news here either.

That's about it.

Oh yeah: To be more precise I'm in based in Kampala and pineapple on a pizza is a difficult one. I'm givin' a deffo no no to tinned-ones but here they do have pretty amazing and fresh fruits, so I have to admit I do sin occasionally and have it on me ham-bluecheese disc.

By marrying a lady workin' for UN. For the first 3,5 years we were in Malawi and now here. I'm a primary teacher so I've been lucky enough to find jobs for myself too (mainly in international schools), although I got to admit I'm not the biggest fan of the magnificent British curriculum... meaning lately I've been workin' in teacher training for NGO's (mainly for special needs education etc).

They don't still like to see it. It's lusty mzungu-behaviour and these guys are God fearing good Christians, who shag the professional girls only in darkness of the alleyways. It's quite a funny concept 'cos seriously, promiscuity is a national sport here. :p

Welcome mate, there's another regular on here from Finland @TheFinnFan .

The heat in Uganda must've come as a shock to you at first ?
Not really 'cos like I said, we were in Malawi before coming here. In Kampala lake Victoria is also keeping things relatively cool. It's more humid than in Lilongwe though (there weeks just before rainy season were unbearably hot and since it was "dry", it was a shock. As was the fact that on the other hand twice in the morning I was scraping ice off the windscreen there). Northern Uganda is though hotter than here.
