Apparently we made a move and got rejected. Would this have been a good buy had we have got him? He is older, being 32, not playing on a regular basis at Milan, but the head-sheds have decided they want him to stick around.
Personally, he could have been a good back-up, like Stubbs was supposed to be last season, but I don't think he would have wanted to move to be a back-up (essentially the same thing he is doing in Milan, just without having to move himself and his family).
