The wind speed was around 60 mph if I recall correctly, and there wasn’t heavy rain, i cannot even remember it raining at all tbh.Strong winds, but what sort of mph gusting? Probably in excess of this and with added conditions like rain?
Health and safety in this country is something else...yes it's windy, so what.
Going to be bone dry at KO today. Still gusting winds at 60+ mph though, so the right decision.The wind speed was around 60 mph if I recall correctly, and there wasn’t heavy rain, i cannot even remember it raining at all tbh.
Where about in west derby?…very close to us and where we walk daily in West Derby, calling a football match off surely the sensible course of action, pity they didn’t do it last night;

It made sense to me to call it off this morning . I appreciate the inconvenience to people travelling but if they’d pulled it last night and the storm hadn’t been as bad or missed us they’d have been hammered.…very close to us in West Derby, calling a football match off surely the sensible course of action, pity they didn’t do it last night;

I don't think Liverpool are quaking in their boots, even with their injuries.Surely you’re saying this with tongue firmly in cheek.
There is a bit of molly-coddling over this, I suppose. A few years ago this goes ahead. But we saw a fan of ours taken against Leicester many years back and you have to put yourself in the position of his family if this storm warning was ignored by football authorities.
On a football level it's a shame. I fancied our chances there today: they had decent players ruled out and the conditions would have robbed them of a lot of their technical advantage. I mean, we can beat them when all things are equal too like, but I also think they've not fancied it today on the back of a late equaliser and dropping points at Newcastle and they knew if they'd dropped points today their lead in the table would have been very very narrow by the end of this weekend.
Liverpool gain from this postponement more than we do.
Five of us here. Four on short flight from Belfast, but one flew Denver to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Liverpool. His mate from Denver also travelled for the game.the new Ric Wee has been discovered!
A fan might get killed but at least you’d get your football.Health and safety in this country is something else...yes it's windy, so what.
