Weird Fruit that turns up in Asda

Every now and again I come across some strange fruit. Kind of stuff that Captain James Cook used to find when he was on his travels.

Anyone ever tried this peculiar item of fruit:

It's called Dragon Fruit.

I believe it's chinese in origin?

There's another fruit the Chinese eat a lot of, which smells awful but apparently tastes delicious.

It's called Durian fruit.

I've had a dragon fruit. It tasted a bit like a kiwi fruit if I remember rightly.

Dragonfruit's alright, sort of a watermelony, kiwi, pear-ish type thing going on.

Durian's disgusting, smells like death and is banned in a lot of public places here and a lot of apartment blocks (no, really)

Have you smelt that? It's really, really horrible.
Like scot said, not allowed in most condos, airports, hotels..
Chinese say it tastes like heaven but smells like hell
