Funny as **** this. Stanley Park regeneration celebrated over the weekend and Everton are the club to have representatives in there giving footy skills lessons and lumping in with the festivities. Meanwhile, LFC, who's "future home" it would be, ignore the event. Shameless bastards.

Everton dumped Trinity Mirror as their main "programme printing partner" at the end of last summer, which also ended the local media firm's "Sportmedia" branch's production of the Evertonian magazine.

The move ended a 3 year partnership which, among other things, saw Echo vendors on the streets of Liverpool selling Everton programmes, and led to Everton taking on printing firm "Cre8" to produce the matchday magazine.

Cre8 (UK), however, has since gone bust, although it is believed that a new company - founded by Lee Power, who was also a director of Cre8 (UK) - called Cre8 (Publishing) will take on the deals, and football clubs have been assured they will see no disruption to their matchday reading material.

Power, a former Norwich City striker, who is also listed as director of 13 other companies either in insolvency proceedings or have been dissolved, resigned from the board of Cre8 (Publishing) in February

Heres another example of EFC's marketing genius. We dumped a publisher that saw us selling our programmes alongside the Echo throughout the city and replaced them with a company who are now bankrupt and have been re setup by a man who is the chairman of about 13 companies involved in bankrutcy proceedings. Well done marketing department, bang up job as usual
