Well in AC milan

Must say pleased with that result, but there was a time when I did not mind which club won a trophy as long as it came back to Merseyside. For me that was first destroyed by Emlyn Hughes and then over the last few years with the attitude of the majority of RS supporters and of late their manager.

Well the Rs will not be able to crow about winning it 6 times but may crow about being runners up, in which event remind them what Shankly said.

"Coming first is everything, second is nothing"

One thing we do know is the Rs were second to the Blues on Merseyside.

About the game all the pundits etc claimed Liverpool played well at least in the first half, am I the only then who thought they were not that good. Sure Pennant made some penetration but to what purpose. Showed up Liverpool's lack of decent strikers, relying so much on Gerrard breaking through. IMO our pair of CB's in Yobo and Lescott every bit as good as Carragher and Agger if not better. Noticed Onionhead used 4-5-1, when we played that way against them at Anfield, we were criticised and called a small club. So who is small now, Onionhead? For me also showed that despite the millions spent they have not spent that well. After watching the game can see that, Kewell, Zenden may well be on their way. Add to that Crouch as well and the likes of others on the bench such as Hyppia, Dudek. Even just after the game there was talk of big spending in the summer so could be more exits on the way, oh of course Bellend as well. Where was Gonzales?

Robert if I were the American owners of the rs I would want to see recordings of the Onions pronouncements after they were fortunate enough to win it last like, he was only going to buy quality, some of the winning team were not good enough, he would spend. He spent millions and millions, half the side was [Poor language removed], his team, so what is he going to do now, spend only on quality players, what the [Poor language removed] has he spent millions on, yes thats right, [Poor language removed]. Give me DM and EFC any day, we may have to do it the hard way but it certainly means more, rs fat cats(y) (y) (y)

All the news media is now full of Onionhead saying the club has to spend big!!
As you say Monty what has he been buying since he became manager. I bet Gerrard's comments went down well with his team mates, that the Manager has to get quality in.

Question to Stevie. Which ones are not quality and did you include yourself in that comment?

Said it a week ago, Integrity is better than glory!

Look at thier fans, their team, their manager, their owners, thier money, all a disgrace!

Paying faulse hommage to a basterd offspring!

As monty says we will do it the hard way but we will do it! Keep the faith blues, their pissing all over whatever claim to integrity, history, tradition and being indiginous of their home population they may ever have had.

They make me want to vomit lifting their skirts to every money grabbing player and fat cat corporate director/box sitter they can.

We are and always will be the peoples club! Salt of the earth. we are built on values, ethics and philosephey they will never aspire to or understand.

The great thing about them getting to the champions leauge final is that the rest of the world will know what we always did, their [Poor language removed] in every respect!

I really felt that we would have given milan a game last night!

I repeat integrity is better than glory!

And meanwhile, the onion will have to incorporate a whole bunch of new players into the team - again. Team spirit and chemistry? No sign. They'll over-spend and underperform again. Meanwhile Moyes re-signs Cars and Stubbs, and will add a few players but keep the general balance and personality types intact. As long as we add enough depth to cover the Thursday UEFA games, I rather fancy us to finish above RS next season.
