with pienaar signed and waiting on a permit, and vogel still in the balance, a lot of the gripes about 'being left behind' and 'lack of ambition' have dried up.

pienaar is a loan and a possible full signing next summer.
vogel looks like being a free but is still contracted to betis and is looking for a payoff from them.

thats two (possible) signings that have cost little if anything in actual transfer fees.

moyes will definately spend in the next couple of weeks, cant say if it will be a big numbers signing or a couple of good additions at reasonable prices.

Vogel. Not sure he will come, depends on what the reason is for this stalling. If it is him wanting money from Real then he'll most likely come when it's sorted.. if it is Real wanting money for him, then he won't come unless Real lowers their request to a symbolic figure.. say 5 pence.

Don't know what I'd rather see happening.. One great big signing or 2-3 good smaller ones. Guess it depends on how great the single signing might be...

Hey, If BT and VDM start earning their wages then we have another 2 free signings also. 11 Youth players have been signed. Players or profit for the future there. Da Silva starting to show his promising colours, 200k cheap signing, Pienaar, loan deal and cheap signing if effective. 2 Youth players have been promoted, free signings if they can cut it, Vidarsson about to cut his teeth, freebie again.

I love Moyes, anyone else think he is not doing anything?
