Apparently, the London side see them as ideal replacements for outbound Carlos Tevez and Nigel Reo-Coker, shame for them that it looks about as realistic as us signing Kaka and Eto'o as replacements for Cahill and Johnson.

Sources

The Independent

Also, reportedly, on the Hammers' list of targets are the Charlton Athletic striker, Darren Bent, and Everton's Australian midfielder, Tim Cahill, but the club have not revealed whether they will retain Carlos Tevez
The Times

West Ham United will try to capture Andrew Johnson and Tim Cahill from Everton. The London side attempted to sign Johnson, the forward, last summer, but they balked at the £8.6 million fee that was paid to Crystal Palace.

West Ham have made an approach about Cahill, who is in talks about a new contract. Cahill may be replaced at Goodison Park by Jason Koumas, the West Bromwich Albion midfield player.
