Frengers is probably the gentlest of their albums I think, so if it's your favourite, it could be personal preference with regards to style?

Like for example, I think I love No More Stories more than most Mew fans. I just dig the harsher, experimental side to it.

I need to go back and listen to their first two albums more. I'm not as familiar with them.

I've definitely not given No More Stories as many listens as it deserves. Frengers has a certain beauty to it which I find myself coming back to, delicate almost. I'm not averse to abrasive music so I'm not sure why it stuck with me the best, but still, I need to listen to their other stuff more to truly compare.

It is a downright gorgeous album. "Symmetry" is possibly my favourite Mew song.

Actually 2nd favourite. Favourite has always been "Apocalypso".

Friday night starts here!
 
When I was nine we had a hippy girl student teacher teach a lesson a day for a week. At the end of each class she gave us a chocolate each, and played this on a portable record player.

I didn't get where I am today by not liking Albatross by Fleetwood Mac. :)
