JM Jarre Revolutions. It's one of the more obscure and unusual of his albums. The content is uneven but the opening suite Industrial Revolutions is amongst some of his best work. On vinyl it sounds magisterial.View attachment 207302
Got that Jarre too. Agree on your review. More of a Klaus Schulze man, myself.

You have a very tidy setup, happy with the sound? Mine looks a bit messy & chaotic but still sounds great: record player connected to an audio-mixer with EQ-knobs so great for setting the sound to taste. Goes out to an active 2.1 (7" sub) studio monitor setup.

A lot of those classic 70's/80's's vinyl recordings sound like it's being played live in your room! CD can't compete with that feeling.

Hi mate. Yeah the sounds great. All Naim electronics with Wilson Benesch Arcs. Very happy with it. The CD player is pretty high end but the sound still doesn't come close to the warmth of a ( relatively) much cheaper Rega P6 with Ania MC.
Jarre's a weird guy. Lots of releases , some of his stuff is phenomenal others a bit meh.
If truth be told I still much prefer Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk.
That said nowadays this old dude prefers a bit of jazz most of the time.
