Well Paris Hilton hardly hides her wealth, Rina is clearly fairly rich too and more than likely went to private school but she does have a degree from Oxford uni I think. But I don't really care about the background of popstars that much as it's more escapism
Fred again rose pretty high in 'dance music', for being very average while using very expensive equipment, and getting a lot of help off his dads mate (Brian eno) and from what I have heard, being very obnoxious which is probably not surprising coming from a viscount or whatever

I think she was trying too hard to replicate his voice and that's not possible. He was unique. She has a great voice and she just needs to sing them her way. She'll be fine.

Yeah, I was a bit cringed at some of the vocals but I can't imagine the pressure she was under and the nerves she must have had. As they go forward and she gets to sing more of her own vocals as opposed to trying to fill Chester's boots, she'll improve hopefully. Either way, took some balls to try to fill those boots.

Her voice on the new song is great. On the old songs she was trying to emulate the gravelly voice Chester had which was forced and unnatural. But this was their first live performance. They'll know it didn't work and hopefully learn from it. She has to sing these songs in her own voice. They will never be as good as the originals but that was never going to happen whoever they brought in.
There will be millions of fans worldwide who will be delighted to have the chance to see them live again and hear new material. Those that prefer to live in the past can do just that and play the old records and live footage.
I am so much more excited by this than the Oasis reunion.

We'll see what the band say, if anything. Whilst I do think it's all a bit weird, being involved in Scientology isn't a crime in and of itself, and is quite common place in the entertainment industry in the US. Plus there were other people who were openly more supportive of Masterson at the time of his trial (Mila Kounis springs to mind) that haven't been cancelled. Being supportive after he has been found guilty is a different matter entirely but I'm not sure that is the case here.
I'm not defending her here btw, but I'm also not judging her either. I know not everybody is the same but I'm somebody who can generally separate the art from the artist. In my opinion she has a good voice, and her being involved in Scientology, or being a friend to somebody who turned out to be a rapist (that she probably was totally unaware of at the time) doesn't change that opinion.

Ha, I'd never heard of her until two days ago and I've never had any interest in linkin park. She just seems to be one of those singers who tries to sing but can't very well so it's very grating - another band I think that do this is London grammar. Whereas Chester Bennington could sing
There is nothing wrong with singers that can't sing it they don't try to sing properly, so many she should stop trying and it might sound better
I'm pretty sure Kunis did get a lot of stick at the time, but I'm not really fussed about her films so I have really kept trach, I'm pretty sure she had to at least release a statement when it happened
