its a completly different scenario in the US to over here too. our police would inevetibly try and talk situations down and use force as a last resort. the US cops use force first to try and end any sort of situation there and then. it doesnt always work, or look good. like we have here.

Over-equipped, under-prepared. Policing jobs are sold to new recruits as glamour jobs, "get the bad guys," but really are front-line social work.

Hit it on the head right here. The thing nobody wants to talk about in regards to fixing police brutality.

That whole pesky 2nd Amendment thing means that police literally have to kill people to protect themselves in situations where they feel threatened.
