I've seen articles to suggest he is a free agent now. There's an Athletic article from two weeks ago that says he was being paid until the end of July, so he should be out of contract.
But Wikipedia says he is still an Everton player.
I've seen reports that he is out of contract but still training with Everton. I've also seen a tweet that suggests he is out training in Norwich
