Wednesday. Today is the free bus fare day for pensioners in Ottawa (should be everyday but that's another story). That means that approximately 10 Chinese pensioners will get off of the bus and instead of walking to the crosswalk like sensible human beings they will instead hold up the bus by walking in front of it and into oncoming traffic. They do this every Wednesday, one almost got hit a few weeks ago and it seemed like they had wised up to the dangers of walking into oncoming traffic, but alas they were back at it again today. Divvies.

Without fail. Every single week. Except for last week, I was convinced they had a moment of personal growth and realized how stupid what they were doing was.

I get off at the same stop they do for my work. It is a massive office building but next to a Chinese grocers which is what brings them in, so me and my coworkers go one way and they cross over the road while we shake our heads at them.
