Everton don't have what it takes in the board room to be able to have what it takes on the pitch.
While the club continue to make poor decisions off the pitch they're doomed to failure.
Moshiri needs to sell to someone that can appoint a board that are actually capable of running a successful club.
Personally I have faith in Lampard to come good if he's given the right support but unfortunately I have very little faith in the way the club is being run at the moment.
I reckon we're at least 5 years away from being competitive again and there could be more relegation fights if we manage to survive this one.

The new ground is the only positive financially, other than that we could end up like Sunderland or sheff we'd.

Objectively, without any hope attached, i think we're going to have to settle into a mediocre phase for around 5 years. I think we'll be lucky if we get a transformation under Moshiri, but I feel like we will make it to our new stadium and stay between 11 - 17 position for the next few years. If we get lucky with a great manager and really good policy with youth players (all the development we hoped for) maybe we'll see an improvement. I don't think we'll get into europe for at least 5 years.

If we stay up - mid table nothingness
if we go down - promotion followed by mid table nothingness

You know what, I dont think we're good enough for CHampionship promotion! We have to be relentless and have a winning mentality, and i feel like loads of teams will play really well against us cos we're a bit like Premier league 'royalty' (ok not that great, but we would be the historically best team to get relegated in years) - and I think we'll be bullied and harassed and unless there's a massive squad overhaul we won't have the guts to make it back. Fighting a relegation battle is good training for a championship season, but we're not fighting.

I think mid-table nothingness, and a few weeks in the top 6 here and there is the best we can hope for.

Somewhere south of the antarctic I would imagine, but past caring tbh.
Last game was Watford, will consider returning when kenwright, unsworth, ferguson all departed as nothing changes before then

Based on what has happened so far...and past performance is no guarantee of future performance - for good or ill - If we're in The Prem And BMD in 5yrs it would be a result of Foinavon-esque proportions.
This is going to be a week at a time process

Said it once if not a dozen times but if Moshiri does not sell up and maintains his commitment to the Club then he needs to majorly overhaul the Boardroom and bring in people who will run the Club like a business. Enough of square pegs in round holes and people who have 'Everton at heart,'. Those days went out of the window long, long ago. Football is no longer parochial and we, as a Club, need to wake up to this pretty damn quick.

I voted blip but it’s not a new blip it’s been a horrible decline since Martinez first season, peppered with awful recruitment and negative football in the pitch.

I think we’re coming to the end of the long blip now though because of how many useless deadweight overpaid players are out of contract end of this season and how many have already gone coupled with Lampard coming in and wanting to play front foot football with a history of bringing in hungry, good quality youth players. FFP will be much less an issue without Sigurdsson, Bolasie, Tosun, Walcott, Delph, James, Digne on our wage bill (though I’d have rather kept James and Digne).

I just hope this season ends with us still in the premier league and then the rebuild can begin without the slog of a promotion campaign to kick it off.

IF we survive this year we have have a chance to stabilize over the next few seasons ( whether we take that chance is up to debate ) If we go down ..... we are not coming up anytime soon ( see Stoke / Sunderland / Wigan / Bolton / Blackburn )

With the three Ronnie's in charge who knows

I doubt kenwright will be leaving the stinking ship any time soon

Needs to be marooned on a waste tip in the middle of the Mersey with his chums so we can pelt eggs at them

Update. The new stadium is being made out of cardboard

If we survive, we face another relegation battle next season and have no money to invest. We’re still constrained by FFP because we have continued to post losses.
