Well it seems that the FA Cup means [Poor language removed] all to any side in the Premiership. Even the top 4 don't seem to be that arsed because they put out a weakened side.

The teams they play know that they don't have a chance of winning so the crowds are low. The crowds are low for all the other Premiership cup ties because they know that its not that important. Because its always the top 4 who are in the final. Same with the Carling Cup and the Premiership.

So why should we bother? Can we do anything? Well for a kick off we can limit the amount of foreign players each club can have. If that means leaving the EC then I'm all for it. The English game was better and more open without 75% foreign players.

Today I have watched Burnley and Luton and there are some bloody good English players there, Talbot for example at Luton is quality. He's not wearing any gloves, he's not even getting paid - yet he is showing what this sport is all about. Football. Nothing else matters.

So I say we get out of the EC, [Poor language removed] off the foreigners, or at least limit them to 3 per club and get back to basic English grass roots football. It then won't matter if Chelsea have millions of pounds, because they will only be able to buy certain players and not who they want.

Because I tell you what, getting [Poor language removed] bored with football in this country.
 
I think the problem lies with the abolition of the Cup-winners Cup which for many clubs was a Euro run. But the rules have been that [Poor language removed] up with CL and UEFA cup, there is no longer any special importance of winning the trophy apart from domestic considewrations.

These days clubs just want to get in the CL and to a lesser extent the UEFA because they are huge money spinners and therein is the real reason for the demise of the FA Cup.
 
Well I think we have plenty of English players in the lower leagues who are being overlooked by many of the bigger clubs because they are managed by foreign managers who would rather go overseas to sign mediocre than to tap into the rich vein that we have in this country.

None of them. But I don't think we operate a foreigner rule first, english second. Liverpool operate like that, as do Arsenal. And don't give me that old pony about Arsene will pick an English player if he believes there are any, he's a bad racist that boy.

that rich vein is to expensive.
