You might get asked this in years to come. Fortunately for me, I was buying my wife a dress at Cheshire Oaks, and had to sacrifice the game.

Damn stroke of good luck apparently.

Where were you? :D

I was with my boyfriend and he bought me a lovely dress at Cheshire Oaks. Can't wait to wear it in the village.

Im sorry but what?

Shopping while football is on?

You clearly need to replace the word wife with "partner".

He's got a point BB lad, what ya up to?

Believe me, it was a hard decision.
If you remember us winning a trip on the Orient Express then you'll understand the rest. We hadn't found one that she liked, or even that fitted, so I made the ultimate sacrifice a man can make ........ miss a World Cup match against Germany. :(

What was worse is that we discovered a big screen that had been set up for shoppers, with only a few minutes to go.

At least she found a dress eventually.................... :dodgy::lol:

at home

I was sitting at home with a great big German Flag wrapped around me laughing into my beir and thinking of all the England media and commentators who got their nose rubbed in the mud. Shame for the English players and fans though.
