Which sites can I link pictures or gifs from?

I cant upload some gifs with them being over 1mb so I'm hoping I can just link them instead, but I dont know if GOT has a list of websites that it deems safe to link to.

Any idea which are good and bad in the eyes of the almighty GOT?

It's probably the content of the gif that matters more than the source of it. Anything dodgy is likely to be hosted on somewhere dodgy. Use a bit of common sense and you should be alright.

Failing that RFUS's link is superb.

Mr GrandOldTeam says he doesn't want 40 ppp because of loading times, but what impact on page loading times do gifs take up?

Might not make any difference on a pc but certainly seems to slow things down on my phone.

It's probably less the file sizes involved as the processing oomph it would require to load up loads of gifs in one swoop.

Go the gif on the site, right click over it, choose Properties / View Image Info or something similar ( exact text depends on your browser ), they'll be a size somewhere in the info displayed.
