Then I want to ask the Premier League why it was so difficult for Liverpool to sign Javier Mascherano, when we had to wait a long time for the paperwork, but it was so easy for Carlos Tevez to join Manchester United?

Easy for Utd??? Wow, if that was easy.......

Then I would like to ask the Premier League why is it that Liverpool always plays the most fixtures, away from home in an early kick-off, following an international break?

"We had more than the top clubs last season and we have four already to prepare for this season.

Maybe you should ask Sky?

How can a player with a signed agreement be treated like this? He [Heinze] has a document which is clear, but the Premier League prefers to believe the word of someone else who made a mistake.

Like you have never made a mistake. Like taking that job as Maitre D. (sp?)

What a bitch!! I really, really hate this guy. Somebody get him a tampon.

Ask him what he thinks about Hillsborough and whether or not his club were fairly treated or should some of the blame gone on the club itself?

Turn a blind eye again.

Mate, point scoring off fans dying is not the way forward.

The South Yorkshire Police need to have a good look at themselves as any fans for a semi final are going to be arriving in high spirits and without tickets.

Who's scoring points?

I think what happened at Hillsborough was terrible, but to put the blame solely on the Police is not really fair. The club had a responsibility for their own fans, and from what I have heard on the streets, the fans were late arriving because they were in the boozer and they charged the gates. This is coming from Liverpool fans.

Don't get me wrong, I think its a tragedy and many innocent people lost their lives, the idiots survived. But the club is seen in a sympathetic light and has no questions asked of them.

The same with Heysel. It all seems to have been brushed under the carpet now, and the club are seen as the golden boys of the media. Yet they still moan like the club is hard done by and never has the rub of the green.

The fact that every year the Hillsborough incident rears its ugly head prevents us from letting things lie.

Just to reiterate, I am not scoring points, its just some clubs have convenient memories.

Some RS managers down the years have earned my (grudging) respect in some way. Shankly and Paisley for obvious reasons. Dalglish as a person to a degree (poor manager though), and even Houllier while a terrible manager had some redeeming qualities, not totally dislikeable.

But this guy has even managed to make SAF and JM look "good" to me. I think he's biggest piece of garbage RS manager since Souness.

Good fit for his club, then.

What does my head in, is we hate Taggert but we still have to offer him the respect of calling him Sir???

Why? Not done a thing for anyone apart from Manure. So [Poor language removed] em and his chewing gum, and [Poor language removed] that bearded [Poor language removed] over the way.

[Poor language removed] em all!!!

Apart from our man and Dario Gradi. Now he deserves to be called Sir.

Mate, were all entitled to our opinions but see my earlier post about the inevitability of fans behaving in such a manner for big games out of town, its a common occurence. The blame lies with the police. End of.

The families are not after compensation nor money, they want at least acknowledgement of the police misaction that day.

I know this as my neighbour died in it.

I 100% agree

I disagree

no club anywhere is responsible for mindless hooligans masquerading as supporters.

Lets be quite clear, it was not the police doing the pushing.

The police had a responsibility to analyse the problem and avert the issue, but it had never happened before and the police in the stadium didnt necessarily know what the police outside the stadium did, and vice versa.

the so called fans in that end found in the stadium without a ticket should have been jailed on manslaughter charges.

That club has the fantastic ability to shirk responsibility, it happened at heysel, it happened at hillsborough, and recently when their fans were branded the worst in europe the club kicked up a media fuss and got the accuser to take that opinion (based on facts collated over the past 4 years) taken back.

they are an abortion.

Chico,

Like I said the one's who died were innocent fans at the front, and those responsible to get to the games on time.

Of course the police are at fault, sheff wed are at fault, but to say that Liverpool are in now way responsible then that is just blame shifting.

Suits? Do you agree or disagree? Confused by your post.

I do not think it does anyone any good to go over old ground, let it all rest in peace and concentrate our energies on our club and the current season and beyond.

i agree in some part and disagree in another.

i wonder if any of the rioting scum from heysel were some of the arseholes that rushed the turnstyles at sheff weds. and then again, i wonder how many of the same old school [Poor language removed] tried the same trick in athens.

unfortunatley the mentality of a notable percentage of their fans is irreversible. a cancer is removed so it doesnt spread.

lets not forget the 39 italians and their families.

and lets wish a certain bulgarian waiter the best of luck not just for him but his family also.
