have they played any british teams in the last few seasons ?
i nipped onto a bolton forum to see if there was anything related to the cost of their away travel, it was full of warnings from aberdeen fans about the way they would be treated in madrid, and it all seemed to come true. was gonna do the same if any teams had been to fiorentina, to see if they had encountered the same ticket probs and what to expect over there, anyone know who if anyone they've played ?

you might be able to find previous years uefa cup groups on the uefa site. or failing that, if they have one, check a previous history on a dedicated website like what we are blessed with in 'toffeeweb'.

They havnt been in europe for a gud while i dont think, they got relegated too 4th division and went into administration and have only just worked there way bak up the leagues, think this is sumthing like there 3rd full season back in top flight. am sure they played liverpool at sum point a gud few years ago though.

I used too always watch them in the 90s on channel 4 when batistuta played for them i used too think he was brilliant

That was when Serie A was half alright.

But yeah, Batigol, as they called him, was the business, few better strikers around in Europe at the time.

Who remembers Rodrigo, who used Batigol to name himself Rodrigol? No-one, yeah, thought so, the [Poor language removed] sicknote.

is your name ian?

batistuta was and is a shithouse. world cup 98 is testament to that.

short memories.
