thats a good point, but whatever qualities are necessary, obviously an assistant manager won't be effective if he doesn't have a good relationship with the players, so the reason i thought stubbsy could make the transition easily is because he already has that down. you're right though, random slobs at home at their computers probably aren't the best judges of everton's new management.

What about random slobs at work, and this slob knows him. TBH Irvine got far more to do than some other, Moyes sent him out to the cameras, normally after a victory. No matter what the guy does he must always remember he is representing EFC, and Stubbsy does that with class now.
