So no change.Bielsa as a medium term project yes. Short term not sure he would be able to get results. I can see us conceding a lot of goals with him at least in the short term.

Bielsa's "we'll score one more than you" high press with this team?
Yikes.
Yeah but they failed obviously. Could you see us getting rid of someone like Ronaldo though, not a chance, he'd trump the managers here, no doubt.Wasn't Lampard and Benitez supposed to be doing this?
They did, they were the only team in the league who actually had more injuries than we did at one point but some of that is down to the intensity of the way Bielsa sets up, the system is just full on for 90 min it doesn't really allow for break points where the players can hold the ball and take a breather for a few minutes. The season before last he had a pretty decent PL defensive record if my memory is right, I also kind of remember they got tonked by defensive injuries last year, that’s just off the top of my head - so could well be wrong mate.
Yes jobs for the boys is not pretty and nowadays unwanted at our club but I would make an exception for Carsley.I think it'll be Lee Carsley. He's got a decent managerial record with the England U21s (take that with a huge pinch of salt), he's worked well with the youth players so might be able to get something out of Anthony Gordon, Simms, etc. There could be an element of 'jobs for the boys' with him being Ex-Everton, but he seems like a decent coach and tactician in his own right. His style of play is dominating possession with crisp and intentional passing. I would expect he's on KTs list at least
Can't see him leaving Lazio for this?Sarri linked now
Nearly vomited all over my desk!It will be Stubbs. His unveiling will be like that time in WWF where Vince MCMahon took his hood down and said “it was me all along” but instead of being surrounded by the corporation in the ring, Stubbs will be surrounded by kenwright and Moshiri.
All managers end in failure I guess, but given our situation it’s how they start not how they finish that matters. Looking at Tedesco’s previous jobs he’s had an instant positive impact everywhere he’s gone and that’s exactly what we need.Just hope Tedesco is given some consideration
Unlike Gallardo he speaks fluent English, is tactically flexible and has experience of improving clubs at different levels, albeit he's been sacked twice (although one of those seems to have been largely because of him raising expectation levels himself)
Lucas Digne was the only creative player we had left and we got rid of him. I just think you cabt force someone to leave, Ronaldo had a multi billion pound offer on the table I don't think he needed much encouragement to leaveYeah but they failed obviously. But ye we need someone who takes no crap but also garners respect.
Deary me, the contributions to this forum get better and better. It will be Stubbs. Tedesco seems to start well before tailing off badly in his 2nd season. Happened both at RBL and S04. But he's still young and learning I guess. Wouldn't be against us going for him but not sure he's any less of a risk than anyone else mentionedJust hope Tedesco is given some consideration

They make more money by failing than by succeeding. All managers end in failure I guess, but given our situation it’s how they start not how they finish that matters. Looking at Tedesco’s previous jobs he’s had an instant positive impact everywhere he’s gone and that’s exactly what we need.
Carsley is one of the few Ex-Everton players who's having a decent go at management. I would have thought he'd have a fairly cheap buyout clause from the U21s job and barring anything we don't know about, I reckon he probably still has a workable relationship with Bill Kenwrong and co. Rooney is just not good enough, plus he's an arseYes jobs for the boys is not pretty and nowadays unwanted at our club but I would make an exception for Carsley.
He was my favourite player in recent times, he quietly but effectively got on with matters as a player.
I've no doubt he would do his utmost best and have his heart in the job.
Don't want Rooney near the place.
