Who should replace Frank Lampard?

This is completely bizarre thinking

Of course we need players but we can't get them until we find a manager. What sensible player is going to sign for a club with no manager, and the widest possible shortlist that goes from Bielsa to Dyche.

We've already lost out on one player because we have no manager. The idea we can recruit well without a manager is pretty mad to be honest. Just look at the shambles of last January.

We were buying players with Benitez having half a foot out the door last January.

Regardless what Danjuma said to justify his treachery, players will sign for the cause that's there in front of them. With us it isn't rocket science. We need goal scorers. Both Dyche and Bielsa want a mobile target man. It's going to be one of those two and any incoming player will know their jobs wont be fundamentally that much different from what they're used to.

But players we would buy for bielsa would likely be a marked shift from what we’d buy for dyche. Bielsa would seemingly want new centre backs whilst dyche would probably be happy with a few beasts up top.

It’s an utter mess.
Blesa would want a target man.

We need one in badly.

There's no need to prioritise the manager situation. Both would be consulted in advance of taking the position.

Target men all have to be mobile in this division.

I’m leaning more towards Bielsa than Dyche. I just don’t think our fanbase will have Dyche, same way it didn’t have Allardyce, same way it got bored with Moyes in the end, far too much of a football hipster element in it. Unless he hit the ground running we’d be on his back and the players would know they could down tools immediately. Even if he did keep us up, too much of the fanbase wouldn’t have any enthusiasm for him taking us forward in the next season.

At least with Bielsa we would hopefully get an immediate reaction from the players due to the change in style and the fans might at least stick with him a bit longer. If he kept us up as well there’d probably be a bit of optimism going into next season.
We're a fickle bunch us fans.

You'd be surprised (or not) how quickly fans will change their opinions after just a few results.

And it didn't work at all - Mykolenko and Pattersom have both struggled this season

I think it's completely unrealistic to think good business can be done by a team who are frantically scrambling around to find a new manager.

A Dyche appointment would see us playing very similar football to what we’ve witnessed for years, boring garbage togger.

I want to see something different
I want to see safety.

Get to summer and dump him if need be. But just get points and safety.

We cant be mithering about waiting for a visionary manager to get his plan together. We'll be down and out by that time.

Mykolenko did ok then went off the boil. Patterson should never have been bought when players like Spence were available.
