Went to Goodison today for the first time in ages and was astonished by how abysmal the atmosphere was.

I’m starting to believe what the former Watford goalie Ben Foster said about us Everton fans the other month: that we are a gift to the opposition.

Maybe he has a point.

I imagine that constantly abusing and barracking your own players can’t really help.

I remember Pochetino's Spurs coming to Goodison last day of the season 2015. We were on the slide under Martinez but not anywhere near as bad as we are now. That Spurs team didn't give us a sniff. You knew they were going places. He's a good manager and I'd love him in. However at the end of the day, the commonality in all of these awful recent years is this board is not fit for purpose.
