Vitor's plan would begin by making Gomes captain. It would end 4 weeks later amid boos, general abuse, sit ins and the odd missile or two.

I’m hoping he might get some better form out of Richarlison Gomes Allan as he’ll be speaking their native language. Would be interesting to see how he rates other members of the squad.

My feeling is, as I said last, we are interviewing people. I'd imagine Kenwright and Kia J are vying for Moshiris attention, and probably both over selling the progress to managers.

I didnt think we would just fly in Pereira to appoint him, before speaking to Rooney, and probably Lampard (perhaps again) this week.

They seem to be the 3 names currently.
And that’s alarming as all 3 have massive question marks about them.

I think whoever we appoint is going to be a massive risk... Ive been saying this for the last 5 appointments though.

I imagine they'll want to try and box it off this week, so the new manager has a week before the next game to get ideas and philosophy across.

That's ridiculous you cant class every Dutchman that ever lived under the same umbrella.
In the very recent past, Edam head Koeman, Klaasen, Brands have given us false hopes and arguably have contributed to our present malaise. My general apathy to Dutch, and I'm referring to football matters here is based on the fact that there are a lot of people still blow smoke up their arses on account of what they did between 1974 and 1988.
Anyway a light hearted comment from me, no offence meant.

He says a lot without actually saying anything
He'll know people like Darren Griffiths who I guess he'd get his info from.

But I cant figure out what he's passing on and what his own personal preferences are.

People are wasting their time looking to him.

Tbh, I'm nearing that point where I'll take any of them getting done. We need a manager in to sign players, and all those linked so far could have a case made for them.

My preferrence is Lampard as it stands, but we need to see urgency now. End of the week could be too late if we're looking to get players in...and I defo think we need a CM done at a minimum.

Classic ploy by EFC. Spread that Lampy Franks is close to being agreed. Then bring in a name that destroys everyones hope and acceptance. So when Lampy is agreed, its even better news and gives everyone a better boost as everyone is behind him as he is a better option than the other garbage names put out.

It's like their ploy of dripping the Benitez news over about 2 months so that the initial fume was gone and people were just apathetic when he signed.

Because he doesn’t commit. As I said, he says a lot without actually saying. Media training and so on. It’s not what they say, it’s what they don’t.

The window closes a week today. Do you think that any new manager, even if announced today, would have sufficient time to get any players in? Seems a big ask to me but you may know better then I do
