Wigan City game

Just watching it on FSC today (a bit late, I know), but did anybody see the second Wigan goal? A penalty, which was a ridiculous desicion! The Wigan player (I missed who) performed the most perfect swan dive I have ever seen, and gets the City defender booked.

The linesman and ref have had a shocking game so far (first half), playing advantage when he should give a free-kick and giving free-kicks when he should play advantage!

Terrible!!!

Wigan deserved a break. They've been playing well. That's the ref's fault though. Any time a player goes up 6ft in the air (Palacios) in a swan dive you know he's making a meal of it. There was contact though.

My favorite should have been an Evertonian (Valencia) had to score another beautiful goal again. *sigh*

I like watching Wigan this year. Zaki is tireless and may be the best player in the prem this year. He's another should have been an Evertonian.

I don't buy this 'contact' crap. Isn't it amazing that defenders never go down, but the AM and lads up front go down when a crisp bag floats gently by!!

I can't stand it when a team deserves a break, or when it is the kopites/manure/gooners or chelski players doing it, just the same as when Yak tries it on. It is all bloody pathetic. Learn to be men and not some girly-boys.

Divers who get away with it need stern punishment, as in a 3 match ban as decided by an independant (of the FA, otherwise C Ronaldo and co would never be punished) panel. Stamp that [Poor language removed] out.
