can i have my point now guys,
horrible people in this world.Of course carlopolos. Not saying dilute it down but try to be mindful of other people mate
Sorry, don't mean to go off topic or stir opinions, my point (del) is the inner sanctum of all religious turmoil is based upon the advantage they hold over each other, which is in this case the " eye for an eye".
Matthew 5:38, I think. Ironic that he ( guy in the ITV video) uses a Christians biblical quote.
Draw a funny cartoon of jesus. Nothing happens.
Draw mohammad. See what happens.
Extreme religion by nature. Breeds far more more extremists.
did he stab the soldier. mate.Go on mate.
It actually says this in the words of Jesus:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you."
Which is the complete opposite.
IIRC 'an eye for an eye' was what the Old Testament stated then Jesus came along and was like 'nah, swerve that'.
did he stab the soldier. mate.
i have mate i agree right by a primary school aswell mate.Think so Carlos, read the BBC news site. Not nice. Sad for all the families involved.
I'd never seen a machete before to my knowledge.
Googled it, had seen one before.. but I saw on google that you can buy one fairly cheap.
There's the problem, you can buy dangerous weapons on the internet for virtually nothing.
World's gone mad.
did he stab the soldier. mate.
thanks for that karl any more updates mate.yes mate.
It's this simple for me - throughout history, nutters have used religion as an excuse for personal acts of barbaric violence. There have been numerous instances of Christian whackos killing "because God told them to do so".
The difference is, if a Catholic kills someone "in God's name", nobody automatically paints all Catholics as murderers in the same vein, because that'd be pure stupidity.
Yet a "Muslim" does this once and that's enough for some braindeads to say "let's shoot them all/get them all out of the country/they're all like this".
It doesn't hold up to scrutiny. This is very, very rare - it isn't endemic, and it isn't unique to one religion. Samurai sword attacks have occurred in Liverpool after an innocuous argument.

The point is, nutters are nutters first and foremost, excuses are secondary. The people who committed this crime today were criminally violent first and foremost and a twisted logic has given them the platform to act out something they were always capable of regardless of religious or political leaning. People are attaching their own racial and religious prejudices on a situation that, if it were a white guy who committed the crime, wouldn't be happening.
That's the brutal truth. Unless the bigots can come up with numerous, systemic examples of Islam leading a spate of executions on the streets of Britain, then they should crawl back under their rock or be exposed as the fools they are.
