Indeed. But apparently doing so makes you a blind liberal or something.

its the fact that theirs many young Brits that always look to us being at fault, obviously us in Iraq etc. does play a part but the reason we are losing this fight is that we are too scared to acknowledge that our way of life goes directly against these radicals which in return gets these individuals angered, that Al Qaeda preaching about radical muslim control/attacks worldwide, lets just blame us racist aggressive Brits.

I mean the guy with the camera, why is he filming instead of running away from a guy with a meat cleaver who has just cut off someones head.

I thought this too but there were quite a lot of people close by just stood there, including that scout leader who told them off. Maybe they've been in situations in their lives before where they're not scared of people with weapons, or it was clear that they weren't going to harm anyone else.

er - we arent "losing this fight", as should be obvious

I find it bizarre that people are just sauntering past a guy with bloody hands and said knives in hand....I mean would you really?

As a Christian Lebanese {Arab} I am not surprised, what surprises me is how you still support them in Syria for example, all the west is supporting and arming the Islamists Terrorists against Asad.

Before USA’s invasion of Iraq, few million Christians lived in Iraq (local citizens) now they all are in Canada/Australia

Before the so called “Arab spring”, 8 million Christians used to live in Egypt, now they are under daily attacks

As for Syria, they all left the country and will never go back since Islamists are taking all their lands and belongings

If the West doesn’t wake up now you will end up like us (Muslims in Lebanon were 20% of the population less than 100 years ago, today they are 70% of the population) the same will happen in Europe, it is already happening anyway…..

And there you have it, from, if not the horses mouth, some one with close connections ( to use the racing term )

And I think he's dead right.

The aim is a total world wide Caliphate ( is that the right word? )

We get our 'liberal' / 'normal' attitudes played rightback at us and used against us.

All this 'appeasment' ...wholesale buying into multiculturism,
except it seems when it comes to our culture;
the whole unspoken official policy of ' not upsetting the muzzies' is the inch that will let them take the mile.
Were, all those who have been brought up on, been brainwashed or just plain bought into the whole wishy washy, PC ethic then, at the drop of a tea towel ( even if they have to go out and buy one especially to drop ) will cry racist to stifle any deviation or debate from the party line.
About 5 yrs ago I read a piece by some high up fundamentalist type dude, whose name I can't remember, the gist of which goes.
All we have to do is to overcome the will of the English speaking world, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ and the rest of the world will roll over ( or words to that effect )
Caliphate is the aim
Woolwich is the method.

As I said before, The cure will be worse than the illness, that's if there is a cure and the powers that be don't wait too long aka things get much much worse and the rot has spread too far to stop.

There will be many things that play a part in 'radicalising' people. Things like the death 15 years ago of ex soldier Chris Alder,

Christopher Alder was a trainee computer programmer and former British Army paratrooper who had served in the Falklands War and was decorated for his service with the Army in Northern Ireland.[1] He died while in police custody at Queen's Gardens Police Station, Kingston upon Hull, in April 1998.[2] The case became a cause célèbre for civil rights campaigners in the United Kingdom.[3] He had earlier been the victim of an assault outside a nightclub and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary where, possibly as a result of his head injury, staff said his behaviour was "extremely troublesome."[4][5][6] He was escorted from the hospital by two police officers who then arrested him to prevent a breach of the peace.[7]
On arrival at the police station he was "partially dragged and partially carried," handcuffed and unconscious, from a police van and then placed on the floor of the custody suite while officers chatted between themselves and speculated that he was faking illness.[6][8] Twelve minutes later one of the officers present noticed that Alder was not making any breathing noises and although resuscitation was then attempted he was pronounced dead at the scene.[9] A post mortem indicated that the head injury alone would not have killed him.[6][10] The incident was captured on the police station's closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras.[11]
A coroner's jury in 2000 returned a verdict that Alder was unlawfully killed and in 2002 five police officers went on trial accused of manslaughter and misconduct in public office, but were cleared on the orders of the judge. In 2006 an Independent Police Complaints Commission report concluded that four of the officers present in the custody suite when Alder died were guilty of the "most serious neglect of duty". In November 2011 the government formally apologised to Alder's family in the European Court of Human Rights, admitting that it had breached its obligations in regard to preserving life and ensuring no one is subjected to inhuman or degrading treatment. They also admitted that they had failed to carry out an effective and independent inquiry into the case.[12] From Wikipedia.

If you notice the judge directed the jury to let the police officcers off, very impartial is British justice.

But that is not the whole story.

In November 2011 Alder's body was discovered in the mortuary at Hull Royal Infirmary, eleven years after his family believed they had buried him. An exhumation of his grave in Hull's Northern Cemetery during the night of 21 February 2012 found that Grace Kamara, a 77 year old woman, had been buried in his place. South Yorkshire Police Detective Superintendent Richard Fewkes announced that a criminal investigation had begun to determine if an offence of misconduct in public office has been committed.

Needless to say no one has been brought to justice for the inhuman treatment of Chris Alder and his family.

figures for those who died in custody were mostly white (75%), male (90%) and aged between 25 and 44 so going by your train of thought white males should be radicalised, by the way no police officers were found guilty in there cases when brought before a jury as well not saying thats right ,but in no way are the police treating anybody as special cases in this instance.

I think we need to be asking why this happened as well as what to do next. Radical Islam is on the rise in Britain http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/jul/27/islam.highereducation there are two reasons for this: a warped view of Islam and Western foreign policy.

Maajid Nawaz made a good point last night saying people join radical groups because they are the zeitgeist, it may sound simplistic but there is a great deal of truth in it. How can we make joining extreamist Islamisic groups less 'trendy' for young Muslims? I don't think telling them to 'get back to their own countries' will help nor will be entertaining people like Tommy Robinson.
