moyes stays.. sure ill be stressin out sometimes
moyes leave .. ill cry.

alot of people saying we need change / someone else to take us forward.. agree with the change
an moyes can do that from the defensive football weve gone in to a team that can get goals and offers threat
going forward. - change.. stop bottling it sometimes moyes dosent play the players do but wigan for example
wanted it more quarter final we needed that .. then city we go for it BOOM. just like him to go in every game
motivating the team weather its a crap team or good weve got a squad capable of winning anyone on our day just show
we want ti and that could be the difference between Europe + champs league.. give some of the youngsters a game
or atleast loan the ones with potential.. as for his interviews id rather see him than any other manager for what hes done
and i do think hes got the love for the club so hes perfect in that way / respected by most football fans across the country.
new manager could mess us up when all as we need is what he can do just needs to do it.. my opinion

Somebody said to me the other day " do you know your history lad, we have won the title nine times". I soon put him straight, I've been watching Everton since we were formed in march 2002 and I don't remember these nine league titles. He was a fool.

Cool story, not sure there is a point, but I appreciated it nonetheless.

I liked it, harry.....just as English football never existed before Sky, EFC never existed before Moyes.

I think the name should be officially changed to Moyes Football Club right now.

There is a perfectly reasonable argument to be made that the chances of us attracting a manager who can do better than moyes are slim given that managers who are better than moyes might not want to work under Kenwright.

There is equally a reasonable argument to be made the other way, that there are often very talented managers working outside england or outside the top flight who are used to operating under much worse conditions and would jump at the chance especially since we do pay our managers very well and give them time and control that is rare elsewhere.

There's reason for this to get heated and insulting when both views seem reasonable,

I can understand forgetting the decade before Moyes arrived but the 80's?

Blackburn and Bolton are the warning signs. Stable midtable clubs without a lot of money who challenged for europe and then appointed the wrong guys, had one bad season too many and ended up in the crap.

But with respect we're not bolton or blackburn and otoh there's wigan who are a tiny club who have just managed to do enough to stay in the league.

Our level financially is about 10th to 15th, our level in footballing terms based on our squad is 4th-7th. It would have to be a really bad manager who'd take this team into a relegation fight and a relatively bad manager to take our club there.

Any manager who's even average in terms of top flight managers should keep us clear of the dog flight as a minimum with what he'll inherit this summer.

That doesn't tell the whole story really though does it, on average we sell to buy with the majority of our income going on wages and interest, in reality we all know any new manager will be expected to get buy on a budget of 5mill or if its more hope they have the same ability as Moyes to pick a player, because if there is anything north of 5mill, you can bet there is a quality player out the door - which I'm pretty sure they won't.

You will have to go a long way to find another manager who would have still played Neville this season - or have Naismith as his first choice sub or keep on persisting with Jelavic and Heitinga while completely out of touch -
Everton could not have bought an easier run to the FA CUP if they wanted and still Moyes failed to deliver -
why did he scout players like Oviedo , Velios , Barkley , Duffy etc if they are not good enough for PL football ? because he hardly plays them -
why has he not successfully scouted\developed any top striker in the last 11 years ?
but above all why hasn't any top club noticed his "obvious superiority " as a coach and snatched him up while he is witout a contract ?
it seems more to me like it is only the loyal Everton fans that believe nobody else can manage us as well and we will have no life when he deserts us
