Wyness statement on "Loop"

Player Valuation: £35m
OS just released open letter on "Loop" site

Without wishing, in any way, to call into question the integrity and professionalism of those who have pulled the Scotland Road "rabbit" out of a hitherto cunningly-concealed hat, we do find it curious that it is being portrayed as a genuine, realistic and deliverable scheme at the precise moment our supporters are being invited to participate in a ballot about our proposed relocation to Kirkby.

Get stuck in there, Keith! Rare to see such forthright language in an official statement. :)

wow... a very emotional response from the club. almost like a reply on a forum!

any one get the impression that the club are starting to panic that the vote will come back as no?

I rather got the impression that they are sick and tired of LCC behaving the way they have done over the years.

That was quite a unique response from KW.

The club have to have been surprised at some of the tactics being employed by some people with this vote. Personally, I commend the club for having a vote in the first place, but the scaremongering that has gone on from some fans that its the end of the world for Everton is unbeliavable.

Personallly I dont think we're doomed if we stay at goodison or if we move to Kirkby, why fear either? I really cant wait for this issue to be finished with, im so sick of it, its brought the worst out in a lot of people.

Well done Wyness tbh! He does point out some confounding flaws with the plan and downright cheekyness of LCC. I hate to say it, but I honestly almost felt like voting yes on my ballot paper. Then sense kicked in again.

I don't think Wyness will ever panic, neither does our club. If anything they stay too laid back. That is why this response is like a breath of fresh air. I think LCC are panicing as THEY are expecting the vote to come back as NO. Maybe they will realise we may not be able to be paid off to leave the city. They are now coming up with sites that were not made available 18 months ago when they were asked. Nice one Wyness, good to see the club fighting all all fronts.

Exactly, LCC are now panicking and its all their fault to begin with, hey offered us no help up to now, and now someone else has helped us they want to destroy that. No wonder KW is pissed off, I know I would be.
