I would rather wired but the router is in another room so ideally both options explained

For a wired set up you would need a RJ45 Ethernet Cable, one connecting to your Router the other into the back of the 360. The connection for the 360 is located in the bottom right corner as you look at it from behind.

for a Wireless set up you'll need to buy a 360 Wireless adapter. It'll cost around £40-60 depending where you get it from.

You don't need to buy a card, just buy it through the console GOT, It's about £35 for a year or £3.99 for a month. With the sales you could get it cheaper on a card though probably

Almost every Xbox game is online though, thousands of titles, whereas PS3 is very limited in its online gameplay and the number of games which you can actually access online features
