Yakubu... Is He Worth £11m?

With reports suggesting that Middlesbrough hitman Yakubu Aiyegbeni is set to complete an approximate £11m move to Goodison Park, we are interested to know how many Evertonians think the striker is worth the price tag.

voted no... but the choices are too clear cut. i think it's a grey area. too much.. but better alternatives who are proven on the prem is another matter. perhaps 3 million over priced. but we have done well selling players for more than they might be worth so i'm delighted moyes (and the board) have taken a gamble. i'll be right behind the yak and wont use the fee as something to hang him with if he has a few bad games.

i'm happy he signed and a laughed this morning when i saw the extra 1.5 million boro were asking for turned out to be an extra 250k. i can imagine moyes telling boro to sing for the rest!

he's worth every penny - look at his record , over the past 5 years only a certain Mr Henry has a better prem record
