Player Valuation: £500k
Jones-no time table
Feilhaber-no time table
Davies-no time table
Holden-at least 6 weeks
Dempsey-soon
Onyewu-soon
Clark-soon
Cherundolo-"fully fit"

And the hits just keep on coming. Saying that these players, especially Davies, who was injured in a fatal car accident, could be back is one thing, but saying that they are in game shape is another, then then the MLS players strike..............The stars are definately not in alignment for the US.
I have never heard of so many injuries to a national team, ever. The problem is that they seem to come monthly, with no end in sight.

that's nothing mate compared to our injury list this season, at least you can pick other nationals, we were down to youth players with no options to buy replacements, hence loans of lucan neill and jo.

Hey darling, are we on the same page here. I have not heard of, except Coles injury, to many of England's national team. Please list and I stand scolded.
I was not watching England, so I do not know, only the injuries to the states, just seemed to be monthly. We had a bad period so to speak, in girl terms.

He was talking about Evertons injuries. I was confused too at first but once he mentioned Lucas Neill and Jo I understood what he was talking about.

Unfortunately our other nationals, like your youth players, are not near the quality of our 1st team...

That list was alarming when it was out a month ago. Most (if not all) of those people have had good news of late. (y)

Feilhaber's injury isn't serious, Davies we never expected to be "match fit" in time for WC, but if he is, great (aka this isn't new bad news).

Holden will be back in time, that was never a concern (although his injury timing sucks now that he's getting playing time at Bolton). Dempsey is already back, Onyewu has been confirmed that he'll be back, and since he's already started training with Milan, it wouldn't be unreasonable to say he'll be match-fit in time as well.

a month or two ago I was pretty dour on the injury situation, but outside of Davies it looks like we might be nearly full-strength. :) :pint:
