Yannick Bolasie

He's not a #10 and never will be. He's played further back before and done very well.

IMO, RB is going to need a club that sacrifices one of the two cm spots to a player who gets on the ball and carries it, and is tasked purely with that. Only a CL elite club allows that and that's where he'll end up. A team that has a world class defensive midfield partner and is solid and fluid enough to accommodate RB trying to dominate games in dangerous (for his own team) territory.

There will be no shortage of offers for him.

There will be a shortage of offers because he won't be put up for sale.

I agree I think we may see the best of him when moved back, but both Barry and Gueye have been key to our early season form. IMO, the solution is a flat three in midfield, but I'm not the manager.

Deleuofeu made errors without actually trying to do anything. Impressive.

Lots were pure unadulterated garbage today, but none more so than GD

Off the bench for just 30 minutes, still put in two good crosses (one of which was an assist barring their 'keeper getting a fantastic hand on it), was awful but less awful than Bolasie was for 90.

Potential club record.

Holy moly.

We have too many players you can't rely on to turn up. Bolasie could go out next game and be a world beater, but it doesn't matter because the next three he could be like today.

Lukaku is the same, as is Mirallas and Barkley - and that's our entire attacking force.

If you can't rely on your attack to do anything, then you're wary from the start. Everything bad today came because our attacking unit were a combination of thoroughly not arsed and completely incapable of playing top level football consistently in terms of doing the basics.

Sadly , the only alternative within the current squad seems to be willing shuffler Snivelley, who at least does consistency in a regularly terrible way.

Squad needs a lot of work, and an inconsistent winger with a questionable history of non-performances was an odd solution.

He's kin rubbish. Said it when we were linked with him. Said it when we signed him. Said it even when he had a half decent game for us. Saying it again today. What in earth is that trick he does rolling it under his foot? Waste of fooking time. Get the ball and run with it you absolute plank. Miles away from the quality we need in our first team.
