If I were to rate them both out of 10, Bolaise would win 5-4.
Mirallas is our only winger who can finish.

Deulofeu has scored more goals in his career than Bolasie, in nearly half the amount of games mate - so i'm struggling to see where you think Bolasie is more prolific? and as for assists, i'd hate to think how many times over Deulofeu has on Bolasie.

I think Bolasie would be more effective now had he stayed fit, all the players are playing better now they've had more time with the manager and to learn what he wants from them.

He was very inconsistent before his injury but you can't fault his enthusiasm to get fit again. Koeman talks about him quite often in his press conferences even though he's probably best part of a year away from playing.

Looking forward to him getting back just to see how him, Barkley and Lukaku play as a front 3.

I would urge everybody to read this thread from the beginning, and then have a think about what he's really done on the pitch for us to prove our reservations wrong.

People were saying he's a blind alley showpony before we bought him, but now hes a blind alley showpony for us, he's ace.

It's like this thread has been imported from RAWK.
It's the extremism in here in recent seasons that makes this place read like RAWK. Either a player's a footballing god or he isn't fit to wear the shirt. Sometimes players aren't perfect but can do a job for us: Bolasie brings an attacking intent and plays with enthusiasm for the club. He's also only had a short period of time to fit in. We all thought we overpaid (but so was everyone that window) and none of us expected miracles. I'm always going to give a new player and manager the benefit of a doubt for a season.

Manchester United, who spent €100m on just one player, have the same goal difference as us. Keep it up blues

I think if we can beat Hull and hit 50 points it will be a psychological boost to the players, knowing the teams above them apart from Chelsea are on 50+ so not a million miles away.

beat hull and then the massive test comes against the rs and mancs. defeats in either or both and it's definitely 7th at best. Win and a draw and 6th would be on, 5th at a push. 2 wins and you just never know.

2 or 3 seasons ago I'd have been quite content (not happy) with Bolasie. He's just an average premier league player, he can do as well a job as a dozen wingers playing in the League currently. That's not what we need to push us forward as a club. Seems people are blinded by stepovers and rabonas with no end result.

He plays with enthusiasm for the club because we are blatantly numerous rungs above where he should be playing, Denis Stracqualursi played like he was Everton through and through, didn't make him good enough.

I'd rather have a whole lot of clever walking round, than a whole lot of stupid charging around.

I think bolasie has at times been judged more on his price tag than his ability. Up until his injury, we saw flashes of what we'd generally seen as a palace player. That is a player who is inconsistent, but a potential match winner on his day. Barkley and the team in general were being hammered by many on here for their performances during this period. Just look at the improvement in Barkley and the team in general, with koeman working daily with the players since. If fit, I'm sure we would have seen a more consistent bolasie working with koeman on a daily basis. Furthermore with the introduction of Morgan and Davies in the side, he would be playing alongside better players who would have enhanced his contribution to the side. Whatever your thoughts on bolasie, it is tragic that the player was struck down with such a severe injury and we might never get to see the player we hoped he could become.

its a couple of massive 'ifs' but yes, beat Hull and avoid defeat in both of those two big games, maybe even winning one and that would make it pretty interesting. We would be pretty much the form team of the chasing pack albeit with still a bit of ground to make up.
So, 1-1 draw with hull and two 0-3 defeats coming up FFS

Bolasie not being good enough doesn't mean that Deulofeu is though.

Maybe they are both rubbish?
