Yannick Bolasie

Bolasie not being good enough doesn't mean that Deulofeu is though.

Maybe they are both rubbish?

Not saying he is good enough mate - not for where we want to be, however he's what? 4/5 years younger than Bolasie, he has the potential to be a top class winger he just needs the application and determination which hopefully he'll realise.

I think Deulofeu has been spoilt to an extent, like Barkley last season 'don't worry about defending, that's what defenders are for' hence the laziness. Bolasie on the other hand has the application and the determination, but not the quality that Deulofeu blatantly has.

That's why i'd keep Deulofeu over Bolasie, he has the potential to be great - like Davies - like Barkley - like Lukaku. It just needs coercing out of him (we saw what he was capable of last season) whereas Bolasie is where he is, he won't get any better than what he is... Which is average.

Can't help but wonder what a fully fit Bolasie might have done this season in that spot behind Lukakubthat Lookman and DCL have been playing. Would we have the few extra points to be in a realistic top 4 battle? We'll never know. Everton that though to spend 30 mill on a player just to get injured immediately.

Our form since his injury has been exceptional. So tbh no we've not missed him at all. In fact we've been massively improved without him. Sadly I don't think he's good enough.

Nah, cant have that, we have been improving all season, not only fitness and style of play, but the like of Guaye and Williams are now bedded in, also the purchase of Schneiderlin, Barkley improving and tweaks to the way Lukaku plays. Nonsense to suggest this all down to Yannick being injured.

Course it's not all down to him. But the argument that his injury has cost us dear is non sensical because our form since Christmas has been superb and we couldn't have done much better.

Who knows. It's hypothetical. The rest of the squad getting used to Koeman and getting fitter can also be a factor to out better form.

We have played a lot better since he has been out but prior to that he was one of our best players, but im not sure we could of done that much better. What I do think is with the form that he was showning if he had of played the second half of the season, when the whole side had better form, he would of looked a much better player working in a decent side, and the fee we paid might not of been such an issue then since we would of been getting good results.

He would have given us a better chance in both the Derby, Spurs and United game, purely due to them all playing a relative high line - basically without him in the team we don't have great pace on the counter except for Barkley whose fast and Lukaku obviously

We were boss in January when Gana was at the AFCON, so by your logic, Gana not being here improved us also.

Actually I think the key to the improvement is playing Davies he had kept Barry out more, Barryis a good footballer but lacks pace and that has hurt us when he has been playing. Also Snides has help massively too. So whether it's Bolasie, mirallas or Lookman I don't really think results would have been much different, the midfield was the problem as Koeman seems to have sorted it.
