Yannick Bolasie

Some absolutely dire opinions on here if I'm honest.

Bolasie is class, and is one of our best 5 or so players. Teams know we have money now, gone are the days of underpaying. The guy creates like nobody else in our team, is strong, quick, skillful, works hard and has the right attitude.

But he spits a bit of dibby dibby and had his words twisted by the media (watching it myself - it sounds like he's staying to me tbh) so we all hate him now?

Of course he'll get back in our team, he walks in it.

If Bolasie 'walks back into the team' that would mean the summer window was a huge failure and we were fighting relegation.

He's a clown of a player,

Bolasie receives a pass
Rolls his foot over the ball
Runs forward
Crosses into the box at random without looking up

Basically a better Aiden McGeady

Me and @Khalekan have been saying this for ages. He's terrible, a no end product showpony. Have you seen his 'tricks Tuesday' links on Twitter? they're full of no end product showponies too, it's as if it's ok to bugger up, just as long as you look good doing it.

I don't really understand why people seem to dislike him. He is hot and cold but ok he plays for Everton so get behind him. Then again I don't really dislike anyone who plays for us. I still want Geads Cleverley and Niasse to do well. Phil Neville being the exception

I don't dislike the fellow, he seems like a nice amicable chap - he's just not very good at football.

He posted a skill of the day or something and it was exactly that.

not saying he's awful or anywhere near as bad as mcgeady, but a decent cross now and then aside he's not very good is he, and that rolling the ball under his feet thing he does makes me want to punch him rar in the throat

Would have been nice to have had a fully fit bolasie in the team alongside Tom Davies and Morgan schnerderlin. You only have to look at barkley's form and lukaku since these got in the team. It could have had the same impact with bolasie. Hindsight is a great thing, but judging by his form this season maybe we got the wrong winger from palace, we should have got zaha.

£27M wasted. Williams looks a dud who'll only get worse too. Stekelenburg - poor. Calvert Lewin is not up to the task. Lookman - ok...who knows really.

That's £45M spent either on poor or speculative buys.

Schneiderlin and Gueye are the only successes in the transfer market (and even there you;d have to qualify that statement given the former hasn't played a lot of games yet and might be a poor injury prospect and the latter has dipped dramatically in form).

Again you're being overly harsh. Pre Williams we had the 15th worst defence on the league statistically, with him we are 4th. Bolasie was our leading assister at the time of injury with 5 assists and he'd created more clear goal scoring chances than anyone in the league at the time of injury. Calvert-Lewin is a 20-year old from league one, who was brought in on Unsworths say so, for his development squad at a cost of £1m, it's Calvert-Lewin who has progressed behind the scenes enough to warrant his current first team squad status. I also doubt very much that the keeper was ever more than a stop gap, most managers bring in one or two they'd previously worked with. Like when El Coco brought half of wigans relegated side.

I know I shouldn't bite at your bitter pettiness, but you make some woefully lobsided posts. This being one. Incredibly bitter.

Davek, mate. It's Friday! the sun is out. Take a day off, be happy, have a beer and enjoy the weekend.
