BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Chelsea | Lampard wins appeal over red card

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has won his appeal against the red card he received in Sunday's 2-0 loss to Liverpool and will not serve any ban.

Justice clearly, shocking decsion to send him off. But clearly more bias towards the big clubs........ And Riley needs sacking.

Alonso should now be punished and the match should be replayed. Clearly sending a sides most influential player off is going to have an effect on the result, and seeing as though the decision has been made a mockery of itld never happen though, what with the corrupt governing body we have and all that

Well Terry served all his ban and recently a Newcastle player also had a red card overturned.

I'd say its not so much bias (which does exist) rather than just pure ineptitude.

Bosingwa will face no punishment for his kick which is a complete joke.

The FA can act retrospectivley when taking away red cards but not when giving them? What a joke.

Thats because they would then have to have a look at the convict kicking the ball at bosingwa earlier in the game, and the FA wouldnt want to be making an example of the nations talisman would they.

Stoke & Delap should take that one up with the FA, he was shown red for EXACTLY the same thing on Saturday.

Also, I reckon diving in the box should be made a red card offense, until then, people are still going to try an con the ref.

That too, but he's not as bad as Yakubu - it's the one thing that's going to stop him from becoming a true Everton legend, needs to cut it out now...

They're 2 of the biggest, most powerful forwards in the league that would more than hold their own in a Premiership Battle Royale - stop acting like cheating fairies!...

No matter what the team or the player all attempts at cheating should be rewarded with a red card as also attempts to influence the referee as in the case of that Argie RS scumbag.

There can be little doubt that Riley's action at the weekend placed the RS in a very srong position to take the game. The Rs just seem to be getting away with many ref's decisions at the moment especially at the RedWC.
