My memories of Yokohama was that it and Tokyo basicly ran tight into each other. So, basicly two of ten largest cities (at the time) in the world are one giant megalopolis. It was also the only time in my life was I was completely illiterate. I had a little note in two forms of Japanese that said, "excuse me, I am lost, please show me the way to Yokuska.'
My other memory is just of walking around, anywhere. Being over 6' and blond I felt like a light house in a sea of jet black hair.
In the end we had a great time though. The Japanese people are truly amazing, kind and considerate.
Best move I ever made was to bring a bottle of JD to a club in tokyo and give it as a gift to the bartender. JD pours like gold over there so basicly I couldn't buy a thing all night and was waited on like a VIP. My $13 bottle easily saved me over a $100.
