Wow, just saw this article. Anybody heard of this Ahmed Yahiaoui guy? Says he is training with us and has a chance to get signed.

Seems he was a star on the U-17 circuit and developed a bit of a bad-boy image ultimately dissapearing down in to a 2nd league where he hasn't done much. Sounds like we are looking at a possible loan deal.

He hasn't (apparently) got a club at the moment and was last in Switzerland with Sion. The Rumours post has got a bit of discussion on him, with a pic from Gazdalf.

I think this is bollocks. How can David Moyes keep his eye on him from the US. I really doubt the club would spend money to fly this kid over to look at him in the middle of the pre-season tour. Another 'tribal-football' moment i think.

Sky Sports on the Band wagon also. Unless of course he has been flown to the US but I can't see that happening.

from what I read he was going to train with us for a week, likely after the return from the states.

I understood from L'Équipe that he was actually here, but they could have it wrong, of course...
