Your Best/Worse Everton Foreign Signing?

So who do you think were the best and worse foreign signings the club have made?

For me:

Best: Joey Yobo.

Worst: Marc Hottiger.

Best - Arteta/Cahill (couldn't decide which one was best )
Worst - VDM

I was thinking of those to Welts, but i went for Joey because when you think about it, hes been here a long time now has given great service, and even when he was out of the team with Weir and Stubbs he just got his head down. A great servant and still of a great age!

Aye Joey has been a cracking signing as well. I went for Tim/Mikel because they are just two fantastic players. Best two midfielders we've had since the 80s IMO. Also we got them both for less than £5m!!!! Now that's a bargain

I think a shortlist for best player would include:

Yobo
Cahill
Arteta
Kanchelskis
Graveson ?
Does Sheedy count as foreign?

We havn't had much luck with foreigners have we really. Not an extensive list of greats. You could include the likes of Dacourt and Materazzi that have been fine players but they didn't stay long enough with us to prove it.

Those two goals against Spurs in the semi final!

Have to admit i had a soft spot for him.

Ammo is a tough one. I remember seeing him at the 1994 World Cup and thinking we'd signed a real world beater. Unfortunately he didn't really produce often enough, although that semi-final will live long in the memory. His record is really no better than a Radzinski and I doubt many would include him

Bilic wasnt a bad player just a bad signing and unlucky with injuries on his day he was class, just not for us!
