Where is Jimmy Gabriel, what about Kanchelskis?

Both of these were better than some on that list.

Jimmy Gabriel maybe (according to my dad) but there has to be a cut off point somewhere (and I did list 35!).

Kanchelskis? Really? Was it one and a half seasons? I'm surprised anyone today would have him as their favourite. But hey ho

For me, it's Duncan, always has been, always will be.

My first ever proper match (that i can remember), was first game of the 1997/98 season Vs. Palace, he scored, and everyone sung his name, even though we were behind 2-1 then.

From that point on, Duncan saved us that season, and he was the first thing i had as close to a hero. My mum dragged me to Ireland late 1997, so i kind of missed my Dad, and i guess, the thought of Big Dunc brought really warm memories for me (Ha, Gay etc... etcc...), that and the fact Dunc always gave 110%, i realise he had a temper at times, but he was great.

Whilst Cahill was great, I don't have any feeling for him like i do Duncan, for me, he was great, but even Kevin Campbell is above in my opinion. All stems from the youngest years doesn't it?

But yeah.

1. Duncan Ferguson
2. Tommy Gravesen
3. Andrei Kanchelskis (My dad used to show me loads of vids of him when I was younger, and was gutted to not fully appreciate him, that said, even now, i'm amazed when i watch Videos of him, what a player)

I'm 21, so don't burn me at stake for not saying Alan Ball!

My Dad loved Sheedy, and My Grandad always says his favourite 3 were Lawton, Ball and Young.

I suspect that the result of this poll will reflect the age of the average GOT poster.
I have voted for Alan Ball as without a doubt he is my favourite amongst those that I have seen play, but I can't help but think that Dixie should be everyones favourite all time Everton player.
Would love to be able to travel back in time to watch Dixie terrorising defences and hitting the back of the net with such regularity.

Wasn't even alive when he played but I voted Dean. First to do so, as well, seeing the current results...

I'm only considering those I actually saw play and as Bobby Collins, Roy Vernon and Joe Royle aren't on the list I'm going for Alex Parker, partly for sentimental reasons.

I tried to find someone in the past few seasons, but couldn't.
