Can't see any thread on this,if so mods feel free to move!!just I thought as we run the clock down ever closer to our goodbye people might want to share, happy, sad, funny whatever types of memories from over the years!!!anyhow
what a place,so many, many, memories ingrained in the very fabric of our royal blue colosseum, great times, sad times, times you felt the world was falling apart but we always pull through don't we?,1994,1998 and more recently💙,times you thought might never happen, lifting league titles, shared together with Evertonians, the ghosts of all the fans, family and players from the past,Dixie,TG Jones,Hickson,The Golden Vision,Labby,Bally,Howie and the rest,my own biggest memories are as a little five year old boy who couldn't believe his eyes at how majestic the old girl was back in 1971,less than five years after being selected as the only domestic ground to host a world cup semi final along with Wembley it was that good,THE best in the land,oh and everyone lucky enough to be there like myself that night would say Bayern but for me it was 28/10/1978,Kingy derby,Goodison literally shook to its foundations that day,it's a wonderful place, our home and we will miss her so much, the new place will have to be something special and it will be,but there will only ever be one Goodison Park💙💙💙
