Player Valuation: £60m
For me it's the team below (I know there's no bluenoses but there will be in a couple of years b))

---------------------------------Júlio César-------------------------------
Maicon----------Walter Samuel--------Nemanja Vidic----Ashley Cole*
----------------Michael Essien-------------Andres Iniesta---------------
Cristiano Ronaldo------------Lionel Messi----------------Arjen Robben
---------------------------------David Villa---------------------------------

Subs: Gianluigi Buffon, Sergio Ramos, Phillip Lahm, Giorgio Chiellini, Thomas Mueller, Wesley Sneijder, Didier Drogba.

*I know he's a tit but he's still an outstanding full back.

Bit early to be including Muller in a World XI squad.

Also, what about Rooney?

That's why I put him on the bench. I just can't bring myself to put Shrek in, I know a lot of you lot have forgiven him, and if it wasn't for the "once a blue always a blue" routine I might have too, but I can't so he's out (it's why the rat-faced RS Argie isn't on the bench as well, it's my team I'll pick who I want!!).

The Rooney hatred is history, the only thing that flared it for me was the badge kiss and that was a while back. Anyone still hating him for moving on to a team where he has won what, 3, 4 titles? And a CL trophy, and signed on the same wages as we were offering whilst providing money we needed to stay afloat and improve the side, is being stupid. There's only so far being a true blue can take you in your loyalty when one of the worlds biggest clubs comes in for you and your club can't break the bank for him.

I am unperturbed about his choice of destination, he has been successful and, therefore, vindicated in making that decision. It is the gross hypocrisy of the man who hamfistedly forces his way in to the affections of the clubs he plays for with the once a blue nonsense, statements about why he would never leave Man Utd (if the Glazers accidently do bankrupt the club and they become uncompetetive of course he will leave), the badge kissing etc... and then be defended by your agent for wanting to win things and "who wouldn't in those circumstnces". You can't be a loyal folk-hero á la Matt le Tissier and an ultra-professional who goes where he can win things unless you were lucky enough to grow up supprting one of the world superpowers and he didn't. I don't hate him, I just think he's a moron who loves to be loved. So he's not in my imaginary team, so there. :P
