Youth/reserve released players?

Amidst all the hooha about transfers and youth team members being given contracts, I missed any news about youth team players being released. Anyone see anything?

Here's a list of players who don't now feature on the EFC site but are in the TW list of appearances last year for the reserves:

Scott Phelan (14 games)
Alan Kearney (11 games)
Matthew Elder (1 game)

and some who had youth team appearances

Geoffrey Imudia
Dax Hoogerwerf
Lee Crockett

and others (although I'm not sure if the last three are still too young and were playing above their age. I think Hoogerwerf definitely featured on the site last year).

Anyone know anything more? Seems a very small number to have been released compared to previous years...

Kearney had a loan spell at Chester last year. Guess it was a case of putting him in the shop window.

Wrong place to post this i guess but it involves youth/reserves, i just caught something going along the bottom of the screen the other day, Hall ? i think that was his name, anyway he has been handed a 12 month proffesional contract by Everton.

He must be some talent to be able to attract attention of fans from Man Utd without even featuring in any league appearance at all.
If he's clever enough with the ball, lack of pace should not be a big problem. Just like arteta.
I'm interested to know is he similar to joe cole or more towards garry speed?

He's 18 this year. Should be in the first 11 this season if he's good enough.
Just browse thru the OS and found that he has already signed a pro contract with us.
