I have noticed for a while now that Moyes was bringing a few 16 and 17 year olds to the club, it is the right thing to do, building for the future and all that, hopefuly a few will make the grade, the future looks really promising, Moyes is doing a great job.

This is the way to build a dynasty:
1. Improve the overall quality of the squad gradually.
2. Bring in around 2 new players a year (on average) who will improve the overall quality (i.e. better and / or younger than the 2 they replace)
3. Build a mix of youth and experience in the first team squad
4. Build a youth system that can add at least one player every 2 years to the first team squad.

The above paraphrases an article I read around 25 years ago about one Bill Shankly and his approach to rebuilding the rs.

So is Moyes passing the Shankly test so far? 100% I'd say.

Arsenal skate very close to the edge of the rules, the investigation into their dealings with their belgian feeder club is the case.

something that i smiled at recently, man ure signed a player that hasnt appeared enough for his country, yet gets the green light for his visa to play, whereas we waited 18 months for SDF to be allowed to join us.

the rules do not apply to the so called 'elite' because thats where all the money is.

I think we're doing a great job. Only today I read that we'd signed Riquelme's younger brother Juan and his sister Gabriella has joined Everton ladies. He's a tricky winger, a bit like Ossy Ardiles. If you don't believe me, read Teamtalk tommorrow.
