Does anyone know the particular formula for getting a Youtube link to play as a video on here ?
Most sites get by with the links and everything after the = sign, but struggling so far here.
Have seen it done today so there's obviously a way. (y)
Thanks in advance.

you have to put or something before the url, someone tried to explain to me once but i never got it to work, he did though.

if you use the embed code and loads link to it through here then g.o.t. will register on the hits.

Thanks m8, will give it a try.

I noticed Badwool76 had done it earlier in the Oasis thread.

Success (y) followed by the same but with / before media.

Cant we have the actual player in the post? Just a matter of clicking the play button and away she goes?

yippededoodle, it works, i googled how to do it last night and it reckons for v.bulletin forums then you can use link /youtube (in the brackets), also a few others as well depending where it is coming from.

that doesnt seem to work.

If you look at your link, you will see an = sign.
Normally on many forums, you would remove everything before the = sign, and including the = sign, and simply keep the rest.

In your case, this would give you 2Bk6CG5VI2c

Then you would wrap the youtube links around it.

It doesn't work here, but it will work on most other forums if you ever use any. (y)
