The players disagree with you there mate. I think they might have a better idea if play has changed than us, tbf.

As for finishing positions: 10th, like 7th and 6th, is nowhere. Matters not one jot to me if there's no gain from it. There's no need to get bogged down in that.

The fact you don't care that we finish 10th says it all. You are the epitome of what Kenwright has done to this club. You have given up, and are willing to accept finishing below sides like West Brom. Shame

not this season... deluded blue mate if you think we will finish above them. We have Moyes players in a Martinez team. Osman, Fellaini, distin, jags cannot pass a ball. The whole team hasn't got good movement, you need to give the man money.

So we've gone from finishing above Liverpool continuously under Moyes, to now having no chance of finishing above them under old relegation man. Remind me, who is the better manager? Is this "progress"? I'd hate to see what regression looks like!

That was a **** side we played yesterday. WBA offered nothing and we spent the entire match playing tippy tappy between ourbox and in the middle.

We should have rolled over them no problem.

Luck had f***k all to do with it.

Stop making out WBA are an awful team. They're not. They are a fit, well drilled team and their plan worked better than ours, because they got the point they came for. Any team would struggle to break down a deep, banks of 4 setup with a good keeper to rely on when their defense is breached.

It's a transition season mate. Things won't click for a good few months yet and in those months there are going to be more frustrating results like yesterday. It was never going to happen over night and this needs to be done for the sake of progress.

You sound like you should be the owner of Chelsea or Man City, if things aren't looking rosy for a few weeks, kneejerk and look for a replacement pronto.

my thoughts were, yes we keep possetion having more than with moyes in charge
means nothing to me, pointless passes jags to baines to felli back etc, most of the time its in our own half
its boring more than fun keeping the ball, yes we were unlucky and could of won but its no excuse had high hopes
especially with Norwich / west brom two first games was expecting 4 points minimum , still .. west brom are always
a hard team to beat pressed a lot didn't give much time and they have a lot of fight / aggressive play whats always hard
when felli's really the only one who goes forward with strength similar the way they do barkley too but hes only played two full starts so yh, with mirallas and barkley can always
trouble the keeper maybe Osman from outside the box but were crying out for a good all round striker , pace strength good in the air abit of everything for the final ball, jelly offside a lot of times playing it on the floor all round but most times to the striker it was hoof / offside / didn't make anything not good enough, maybe kone will be that striker? baines / colman can always get balls in the box so just someone on the end .. positive ? I don't know but its just the begging obviously needs time but maybe
work on that passing and do it all over the pitch , get a good finisher.. copyin myself like an I cant wait till gibbos back

coyfb

We'll have to be bang on it next week and well up for it as Cardiff certainly will be!. There crowd were immense today and so were the team. Shame the same couldn't be said about us lot at Goodison these days!.

Never heard it so quiet than on saturday, we just don't sing unless we come close to scoring or do score!. West Brom even sung a song saying 'shall we sing a song for you, shall we sing, shall we sing, shall we sing a song for you?!'. Haha good crack like but we were as quiet as a mouse!.

A few more stats:

We attempted 28 crosses (including corners). Just two found a man in a blue shirt and only one of those was inside the area.

5 of our passes were flagged as offside.

18 out of 45 long passes were successful.

Howard only went long once and it was intercepted.

I would honestly sack him the utter clown.

He took a free flowing top 6 side and turned them into a version of the chuckle brothers with Distin and Jags playing from me to you for 90minutes.

I was promised attacking tiki taka, instead its been a long time since ive been that bored at Goodison.

Can you pass the keyboard back to Jnr please? ;)

Hoof worked, passing it between Jags and Distin is death by actual football.

Depends on the definition of 'worked'. Got us 6th/7th? Not working as far as I'm concerned. Working only happens when you have 150M to throw at the team building...if you're lucky.
